I survived the wild ride around the Pacific and it was very benign. I ended up in Maui where Evan was able to join me. But, by this time, most of the crew was sick and I knew it was just a matter of time before I got it. I'm closing in on 3300 flight hours and flew over 100 hours during the trip. I'm just about 100% again, but this was a bad one. I was hacking and sneezing for a while.

Oh my Lord, it's been a crazy couple of weeks. I'm the acting top banana in not one, but two organizations now and it's like a non stop blender.

Sometimes your life reads like a recruitment poster for the USAF. (but you probably can't write too accurately about the scary parts.)

Nice resort! If you have to be sick at least you're in paradise.

I was so lucky to not get sick until after I got home. I enjoyed every second I was there.

They even have me doing recruiting drives for the Academy!

Now, I'm the acting top banana for not one, but two organizations and it's non stop administrative madness. :\

I just missed you, I miss sharing life with you (being far more back and forth about our lives); I realized that we have been pretty distant from the way we used to be for awhile now, and I understand that we both lead busy lives (especially with you doing what you are now), and just don't want you or me to forget who we are together. I never do, but still would be heartbroken if we did.
