Yes Senseis are picky, aren't they. Mine is relentless on me for "relaxing" and I swear, sometimes I think I'm relaxed and he still pounds me with it. Well, whatever doesn't kill us... ;)

I think as kids we get conditioned to look at corrections as punishments, when in fact they're just guidance.

I get the same thing! I think, I'm doing what he wants, aren't I? It was great to see some pics of myself so I could see what I was doing wasn't what I was thinking I was doing.

And, I didn't get the job I had interviewed for. They did make the right choice though. The other guy was far more experience and I didn't want the, "she got it on gender or her family connections," bs.

The mantis don't live long. Mine (wild-caught) laid eggs before dying, which hatched the following spring and I had to leave the cage out in the back yard, open, for all the little buggers to get out. Hatching was quite a melée, as the ones whose exoskeletons have hardened hang around to snack on those just emerging.

I've been feeding my mantis bees so far. I think mine is a male so I may have to see if I can get a female.
