That’s so frustrating about Ian! I hope he becomes more available soon and your rehearsals can feel more complete. I’m sure it’s stressful to have that very important piece missing at so many rehearsals. How do you think the show will turn out, ultimately?

While I’m sure it’s nice that you’re so involved, I’m sure it is, like you said, really draining. I hope you’re making time to chill and practice some self-care?

And yes, probably for the best that you haven’t seen chanel much lately. Have you seen/spoken to kc much?

I’m starting to get worried about how the music will sound. The music director hasn’t been there and Andrew is not a music person so he keeps saying we’ll fix it when Montana is here….but then she never is.

The self care has been a bit lack luster lately I’ll be honest. Between dog jobs and driving every each way I haven’t had time. Next week I should have more breathing room, and Saturday night I have some fun planned.

Have really only messaged with kc here and there…and ok don’t hate me but his bday was this Monday and I did get him a present 😬 I couldn’t help it! It was just a nice candle and a party game, which was a lil stabby bc the game was called “Real lies: make up lies about your friends” 😏 so a subtle dig at how much he lies and I just dropped it off at his rehearsal didn’t even watch him open it! So yeah…

I love the lil dig at him with his birthday gift... I totally get it, though, it's impossible to know what the right thing to do is. On the one hand, you're setting boundaries for how you'll allow them to treat you, but on the other hand, you don't want to be mean. Isn't Channels birthday coming up too then? I feel like they had a joint bday party last year. Are you just going to ignore hers?

I hope you enjoy a more relaxing week and that you had fun last night! And I also hope things with YF go better... yikes, how stressful that must be!! Do you think the show might be called off if things don't get ironed out??

Yeah I don’t want to be their villain, and I know how critical of others they are and how much they shit talk people. I am learning to not care or think about what they are saying about me. It’s a process.
channel’s bday is this coming Sunday and I did get her a lil pres.-some hand creams and lip stuff from dollar tree…what you would get an acquaintance! And I’m really only bc I’m going to see her Saturday at the show and will be giving Maddie her present then from back in August when I had to babysit the dogs and not go to her party. It would be weird to not also have a present for channel since it’s the next day.
