Soooo, I'm thinking of making a photobucket of costume references from the miniseries (mostly to help me, but why shaft y'all? I did make this comm for a reason, haha.) Do you guys have any requests for certain costume shots?

Also, I'm still on the hunt for perfect fabric (as am I still trying to convince my friend to costume Hatter) for both

I've actually been organizing reference shots for various characters. :D (Trying to convince my girlfriends that there are other female costumes beyond Alice, Duchess, and the Queen. XD) I can upload them to my webspace and you can download them to your Photobucket, if that would be helpful to you at all. :)

And yeah, trying to find "blue jacquard/damask fabric in a geometric pattern" is making me want to kill myself a little.

A friend of mine considered costuming Queen of Hearts before deciding, "I don't want to go shopping at Georgia Tent and Awning for that fabric," lollll. Would've been fun to have her costume with me, though.

I've got the HQ screencaps, but I just need to pick and choose which shots. Obviously something like Alice's coat swinging, close-ups of Hatter's shirt, that sort of thing.

I haven't even really begun looking for Alice. I figure after looking for fabric for Chuck from Pushing Daisies, this fabric frustration is old hat!

If one is incredibly artistically capable, there is a way to make the Queen's main muu-muu thing, the red one with the card motif across it, using a painted-silk technique.

I can probably get a tutorial written, if anyone is interested.
