Summary: Ishida misses Kurosaki while he's training with the Vizard. He wonders if he's off having an adventure without him, he's training as well though.

Sitting on the ledge of his father's 'training facility' Ishida contemplated the complexities of having fallen in love with a forbidden shinigami. His icy blue eyes seemed to scour the walls for some sort of answer, though the steely glare of the wall held none such answer. "Damn it." He cursed and closed his eyes. Did Kurosaki have to be the one? Yeah.
I wanted to be like you
I wanted everything
So I tried to be like you
And I got swept away
Kurosaki trained hard with the vizard, though his mask would only remain 11 seconds he got a thrill from each moment the mask was on his face. He could only compare the feeling to kissing Ishida, the first time was after school, after the hollow-caust when they mass destructed all the hollows Uryuu. He could secretly smile behind his mask at the thought of Ishida with Zangetzu ontop of his head. He thought of the memory every now and then between practices when he clutched his Zanpaktou.
I didn't know that it was so cold
And you needed someone
to show you the way
So I took your hand and we figured out
That when the time comes
I'd take you away
In his own eyes the dark haired male was far from perfect, but he knew somewhere along the way Kurosaki picked up on the idea of him being somewhat... perfect well minus his personality. Ishida chuckled at the thought of Kurosaki thinking he was smart, in all truth, Ichigo was smart when he wanted to be. He missed the sight of orange hair in the morning, though it caused a vein on his forehead threaten to pop, he realized he didn't know what he had until it was gone.

The reason for getting stronger was to protect, protect Orihime, Rukia, Renji, Captain Hitsugaya, Matsumoto, his sisters, all of his friends, and... Ishida. He didn't know if he was a friend or more, but he hoped more and that drove him further to work at keeping the mask on longer, for Ishida, he was going to find a way to get to him and tell him his feelings. yeah they kissed and stuff, but Ichigo never really got around to getting out the words 'I like you' or 'I love you'. It was like his mouth froze.
I'm sinking slowly
So hurry hold me
Your hand is all I have to keep me hanging on

Ishida was practicing with his father to regain his quincy powers when it struck him, Kurosaki... he might never see him again. This caused him to stop dead in his tracks, an arrow zoomed past him and nearly caught his neck. "PAY ATTENTION URYUU!" was all he heard before he continued running and trying to mirror the attacks with his bow, it was slowly coming back to life.

While being punished by washing the dishes Ichigo smiled to himself, he was wearing an apron, and no matter how much he was agitated by it... it reminded him of Ishida. He smiled to himself while putting one soapy and pruned hand into the water to grab a plate and clean it. The vizards looked at him curiously, he was smiling at washing dishes? No. At least he knew part of his resolve, and it was becoming strong as he was: Tell Ishida he loved him.

When Urahara offered him to go along with Ichigo to Hueco Mundo his heart left at the thought, but he didn't accept until learning Ichigo wanted to go alone. He accepted, though felt just slightly crushed seeing Chad, so they wouldn't be alone? As soon as Ichigo's eyes met his own he grinned and was prepared to show off his renewed Quincy skills, as long as he didn't have to take his eyes off of Ichigo.

Ichigo watched as Uryuu demonstrated his powers and as they entered Hueco Mundo he whispered into Ishida's ear "I love you." The archer swiftly created a surf-board out of spirit particles and dashed off, face red. Of course when the question of why he came along popped up he replied with his lame 'loop hole' of an answer. Ichigo knew why, he loved him back, he could tell.
