I was rereading the books, just a short something I was inspired to jot down!
The Patronus | Remus | G | 118
Remus sees something familiar--something he thought he'd never see again.
Harry is plunging to the ground, and at that speed, his features far away and blurred by motion, Remus believes it is James.
A low murmur breaks across the students and professors watching from the stands, hands pointing at the pitch. Three cloaked figures, looking up at the sky.
Remus opens his mouth, his hand clenching convulsively on his wand, but before he can do anything, Harry looks down, plunges a hand into his robe and roars the spell. The Patronus is gleaming, silver, huge, cantering and charging at the dementors.
Remus is unconscious of rising, surging to his feet as he stares. He is trembling badly.
“Remus?” Dumbledore asks, concern in the blue eyes.
“I’m fine, Albus…”
“That was quite some Patronus,” said a voice in Harry’s ear.
Harry turned around to see Professor Lupin, who looked both shaken and pleased.
