Sure? I thought it was just gone. Was thinking it disappeared because it was the symbol of the dollop of Voldie Harry carried around - the bit that made him speak parseltongue, defy authority and such. The way I see it, when the hideous Voldie baby was under the bench at King's Cross Station, that was when the scar disappeared from Harry (who was lying in the glen before Voldie & minions). Hum... the book didn't say the scar disappeared but I take it it was removed in the movie because it represented eau d' Voldie and was therefore no longer a part of Harry. I reckon, the alternate view is the scar represented Lily's love for Harry, so it would remain in place forever. Hum... will niffle around and find out if the movie producers/writer/etc., have anything to say on the matter. They do have a disagreeable habit of not agreeing with me.
