Okay, so I keep getting this pop-up everytime I open my iTunes saying there is a new version of iTunes avaliable and if I want to update/download this new improved version.  I usually ignore it because I don't want to take the time to download it but then I decided to do it today since I had nothing better to do.  So halfway through the instalation

updating iTunes updates the software operations - makes it faster and such, but it doesn't delete your songs... look for the itunes setup.exe file (on your desktop or where ever you saved it to) and restart the download...if you can't find it, go to "my computer" and click search and type in "iTunes" and you should be able to find it.
