From this day forward, this journal will be 'Friends only'. This shouldn't affect any one who is already getting this on their friends list. I'm just doing this as a precaution with real life acquaintances.

If you'd like me to friend you, just reply to this posting and I'll do so right away.

Hi!

I don't really know you, so I can't really ask to friend you, but I do have a bit of a weird question for you.

I was commenting on DarkIrony's LJ, when I saw your avatar there as well. I quite like your avatar, and I was wondering where you had gotten it. I was hoping that it was from one of those "Make Your Own Avatar" websites (I love those websites, and I'm always looking for them), and if so, that you would maybe tell me which one. So I clicked on it and made my way over to your journal.

Sorry if this is too much of a bother, or if I'm being a bit forward. Just ignore me if so. =)

Actually, I belong to a game site, Pogo.com, where you make your own Avatar's using points you earn in game play. They are full body length shots. They don't let you save the Avatar's to use else-wear, but I took a screen shot and made the icon. It's an excellent little Avatar program, but not really accessible to just surf into and use because it takes a lot of hours of game play to put together the more interesting Avatars.

Welcome, I've friended you back on both your regular and your writing journals! I've often read your comments on others' journals, and feel as though I've known you for a while. I've been in the HP fandom pretty much from the beginning. I started out chiefly with the older characters, Snape, Lucius, and Remus either paired together or with a bit older Harry in AUs. As the kids have grown up, I've gradually gotten into Harry/Draco and Harry/Ron. I'm much more interested in fics written about characters that have lived enough to develop some emotional maturity, and don’t object to chan on any moral principle ( ... )
