I'm working one of the launch parties, and some cocky kid will come in and shout spoilers, just like last time.
I would really want to do some serious damage to anyone that did that to me >< .

He agreed. I have it in writing.

I completely agree (about not spoiling people). Doesn't mean I didn't cave, because I cannot resist. However, my real book is on its way for my Saturday reading date with my friends.

I hate to tell you this, darling, but your post earlier today was one of the ones that made me feel most wretched about this whole thing. Sorry. :-/

I honestly did not see how that could spoil anyone. Sorry.

I think Scholastic is going to bust out and kick some ass for anyone who has viewed the PDF. The fact that I've had my staff sign waivers and things, when the book has been there for more than a week is just ridiculous.
Becky and Jason...you're right. I hate the spoiling bastards, too.

Yesterday, someone at work mentioned that people were showing up in stores last time and shouting spoilers the next day, and I said I would gladly bounce them from the premises, but now I remember that I'm not working the day after the party. If they shout spoilers *during* the party, though, I probably won't hear it, what with being preoccupied with overcoming stage fright and all.
At any rate: the bastards.
And in Spanish: los bastardos.
And in French: les bâtards.
And in Latin: notha.

They didn't shout, as much as say it to whomever would stop and talk to them. Still...AAAARRRGGGHHH.
I didn't know the Latin! How useful.
