Feel like Burger King...

Day 1

Well, the night before the trip I had worked myself into a tizzy. Until 1am we weren't even sure if Jon was riding with us this morning at 7am. I like to have things... planned! :P

So, I woke up at 6am, finished some very minor last min packing. I got almost no sleep, went to bed around 2am and yes, I was staring at the ceiling again. I hate insomnia.

I go to pick up Pat and Greg, then headed over to the GC. Once there, we find out that Adam has his vehicle in the shop. And he wouldn't know until 7:30am if it would be fixed! So Adam calls and... no his car won't be ready until noon. At this point, Pat and I were ready to take my car and go I think heh. So Shawn calls up his father and quickly asks him if he can borrow his car for the weekend. Luckily his father agreed. We drive over pick up the vehicle... only to have Adam realize that he left the b's server back at their house. So we drive baaack to the gc then go to the bank. So we finally leave Lincoln at 8:45 and hr and 45 min late.

To make a long story short, I drove 5 hrs. then Adam took over. I was extremely grateful for that since we hit Chicago at... yes 6pm. Fun fun. It wasn't nearly as bad as normal so I guess we lucked out.

Got to Ann Arbor around 10:30est, threw our things into the rooms and then hit the bars. Or rather, we spent 45 min LOOKING for a bar. When half the streets are blocked off and inaccessible due to an art show, it's a pain! We finally found one, "The Arena".

I had 2 capt. and cokes, a jager bomb, 2 long island ice teas, and 1 kamikaze. Luckily only paid for 2 of those :P Considering that I hadn't had a drop to drink in almost 2 months and hadn't had dinner that night, I ended up thoroughly drunk. I called up Jin and left him an harassing voice mail, called up Alyson and Jeffro and talked to them both! Though to be honest, by the time I talked to Jeff I was MUCH better then earlier. Got on irc and made an ass of myself, and shot off a few emails for good measure.

Day 2

Luckily I was drinking gallons upon gallons of water, so I didn't have much of a headache. My stomach wasn't feeling too good though (never did throw up)! Got up at 9am and got online since every one else was still asleep. Finally headed out for lunch. My stomach wasn't happy with me. Around 1:30pm we finally woke up Bill and Adam and decided to go to a movie. Note to self, if Jeff ever says "I know where I'm going", immediately go get a map. We spent 35 min looking for the theatre, only to find it and miss the movie. Luckily they had a later showing of Bourne Supremacy so we went to that.

It's not a bad movie, but the cinematography was terrible. Tate and Pat were both sickly after the movie... and imagine ME, woozy BEFORE the movie, and afterwards, well I was feeling pretty horrible. Then on the drive back, I had to sit in the back of the explorer. Jeff suddenly slammed on the gas, sending me headfirst into the rear window. I'm sure there was a way for me to feel even worse, but not sure what it was heh

The guys wanted to go out to a susi bar, but after the hangover+movie+head being beaten, I was feeling sick and raw fish just didn't sound good. I stayed in the room and napped. The guys came back with probably 50ish bottles of bear and we ended up playing P&A. Jeff was asshole the most, woot. I sipped my water and did very well.

Day 3:

Wedding day! Got up late, went to recycle the beer bottles (yes go Michigan!) while Bill bought his outfit at the last min. Ate at apple bee's, life was good. Got ready for the wedding. and Jeff for the love of god man, it's NOT ok to wear a shirt that wrinkled. I offered to iron it, but he refused.

Unlike Shawn's wedding, we weren't late. In fact we were waaay too early. I think the next wedding, who ever that will be, we'll be right on time. Bill after wearing his shirt already had a stain.

The wedding was beautiful. Ellen looked gorgeous, the music and readings were wonderful. And at one point Ellen and Angela almost got married. :) it was great.

Headed out to the reception. It which was again, beautiful. Had some very different food but it was most excellent. And there was free beer. Bill went insane! ;) The guys goal for the evening was to be "That table" as in the table that everyone pointed at and said "Ohhh they're from THAT table". Excluding us two designated drivers, everyone got sloshed. I got picked up and carried to the dance floor, my ass grabbed, repeatedly asked to "show my titties". Oh and jeff decided to pelvic thrust against me. grrr by this point it was getting old. On the other hand, they made complete asses of themselves and it was highly entertaining. I did feel a bit bad for the bride and groom though. Once they stopped serving beer the drunks decided it was time to leave. We headed back to our rooms, but the guys, with a couple exceptions, decided to go to the bars. I went to bed. Those guys were sooo hung over the next day (muahahhaa)

Last Day:

We actually left ann arbor before noon, which I thought was a miracle. Not much to say about this day. We finally ate at burger king, yes! And we rode and drove and finally got home! I think Bill looked green until about 6pmish

Here are some pictures of the trip. Notice the captions! There is one that made me think of Jin

And here are some memorable quotes from the trip:

"Kiss your kid [goodbye] sure, but your wife, that's just ridiculous" - Bill to Shawn

Adam:"Did you see a sign for gas or did you just pick an exit at random?"
Bill:"I prefer not to answer that question"

"Poppycock. Hwaaaaaaugh" - Bill as he's inhaling it

"It's not a beer gut, it's rocket fuel power for your sex machine" - Adam to Pat

"We got to Climax [MI], and just kept going" - Megs

"If I wake up, the balls will stay in my mouth" - Jeff referring to the possibility of him getting tea bagged.

"I'll take cheese cake up the ass. I'll take it anyway I can get it" - Jeff, being Jeff.

"Finish it in your mouth" - Tate to Shawn
