On Saturday, I met piseag.  She is nice.  She has adorable spawn.  Babies have tiny fingers and toes!  Every time I actually spend time children, I want children of my own both more and less than I already do.  I am so profoundly ambivalent!

Have gotten into playing Fallout 2 again.  For the uninitiated, it is a postapocalyptic roleplaying computer game.  I like the fun noises the various monsters make, the fact that there are domesticated two-headed cows, and the snarky dialogue options you get.  I HATE the fact that you can't rotate the camera angle.  The walls cut away for a short ( Read more... )

I have a purseful of job applications to local retail places.  Some of 'em I can walk to from home, which would be nice, if I didn't have to get a bus pass (or for that matter spend any time on the bus).  Wish me luck.

I had a job interview to join the temp pool at the University of Utah. My computer's power cord mysteriously stopped working yesterday.  Any outlet I tried it in, the little light wouldn't turn on and the computer wouldn't acknowledge that it was charging.  Took it to the Apple store, and there, it worked.  Took it home and it worked again.  Then that evening it failed again, so I shut it down and went to bed.  This ( Read more... )
