What I did today...and how I almost made a fool out of myself
Hmm.. so what happened today? Let's see.. I woke up duh~! then watched TV, fed my autistic older brother breakfast coz' the 'rents went out. Now, 10:5 pm, they're going out again. I surfed the net, took a bath and went to school at 4:10 pm. Then i waited for the teacher who was supposed to be my partner in singing The Rrayer. I'll elaborate The Prayer later. He was late for 2 hours when the time of meeting was supposed to be four o'clock pm. >.< . The program was supposed to start at 7:30 pm for the Induction of the Student Council officers. My mom and dad remarked on why i would go there when in fact, i didn't win. I told her i was part of the committee [special events]. *rolls eyes* I seriously didn't want to come but then again, I came so just go on with the flow.
Okay, so me and Teacher-san sang The Prayer version of Josh Groban how i love you so and Charlotte Church. It was okay according to those who heard me but it was flat in the ending >.<; and I knew for myself that it was full of flats. Dang~! It was so hard. I almost lost my voice. People clapped after we were done. I just couldn't help wonder why they were clapping when it was supposed to be a doxology. It wasn't a presentation. It was a prayer.
Next song would be, 'Warrior is a Child' popularized by Mr. Pure Energy, Mr. Gary V. I forgot his full name so shoot me. I didn't practice this song that much and neither did my spur of the moment partner so we both haven't memorized this song that much. I sang the first verse and forgot the next line but luckily he covered up for me. asdf1!@@#!!! I'm so lucky to have such a nice kid as my partner. He's a year or two younger than me but he's a kid in my eyes no matter how he acts. Like a teenage boy. a good one at that. haha.. But at that moment of singing, i could have facepalmed myself and bang my head on the wall in front of the principal, the chairman/director of the board and the parents. That was embarrassing but not really the most embarrassing night of my life. Thank God, we did it in acapella. hahaha
On the lighter note, even though i spent 6 hours in school despite the fact that it was a weekend, I enjoyed it by reading manga as usual while eating Sour Punk apple-flavored and donuts. If you haven't tasted Sour Punk before, you should try it. It has a sweet sour-y taste. haha.. and it comes in apple, blueberry and cola flavor. I don't know the rest though. Okay enough of this shameless advertising, Kyohei x Sunako Love~! these two are so cute together.. maybe because they are so thickly dense. Hahaha.. I still haven't recovered from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge.
Another advertisement coming up, I think japanesepod101 is good. ^^ It had really good tempting offers that sometimes I wish I could access my father's credit card just so that i could redeem their great offers but then, I get reminded by my conscience that I should spend money wisely *sigh*
I love the girl's expression in my mood. Especially what she's reading. Yaoi~! hahaha... wonder who's on the cover? hmmm...
