Wow.. glad you're fine, I guess I still can't believe this happened to someone I know. Usually I just shake my head at these things when I hear it on the news and not really pay attention. I might have to pay a bit more attention now and make sure its not someone I know :P

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to put it so lightly.. I think thats one of your very positive qualities :) you can joke about the most serious stuff and get away with it
