I've followed this series of articles on a young girl who's been battling bone cancer and what Kris Draper and the Detroit Red Wings have done to help her make the most out of life.
I saw a paper on my way out to school today that had her on the front page saying she passed away... This article brings tears to my eyes. -

The newest issue of EMU's Casenotes is out. Casenotes is a full-color publication the College of Arts and Science at EMU publishes. It's goal is to engaged and inform alumni and friends of the College. This issue has a nice writeup about the Physics and Astronomy department in it and they just happen to have interviewed me in it! -

Fuck michigan road work
Today was the most frurstrating drive back to St. Joseph I've had. It was worse than driving in a blizzard. Slow traffic outside of ann arbor, one lane traffic in Jackson which meant 6 mile backup moving at like 5mph, so I detoured through downtown Jackson. Indy was awesome, one of the best JM concerts i've been to.

1,100+ signatures in two days. Lots of support from students and faculty members were kept saying how they were really glad to see us out there supporting them. I'll be gone this weekend but I really wish I could be out there to show some more support and collect more signatures.
