as I was driving home from work, I realized that today is Dakota's birthday. I don't know where the thought came from. It was completely out of nowhere, coming at me suddenly in a stabbing motion aimed at my heart. Now I am left with an uncomfortable anxiety that I can't shake loose. I should not be drinking at all tonight, but I couldn't stand it
