I was glad to have so many old friends drop in to say hello.  :-)  HUGS to you all...    I'm really surprised though to see how many of my friends haven't been here at all in a year, some for two or three years.  They still show in my friend list but I went and took a look at the "nudge" page and it shows how long it's been since some people posted

Facebook pulled nearly all to the other side. I have an account but update only to post new art, I find it completely overwhelming and invasive. I think people like it because they get a lot of attention due to the sheer number of "friends" but most people post little more information than a tweet. Which means it takes little effort to write something and to comment all they have to do is click "like" so that takes little effort as well.

It is just way too public a forum for me, while I do visit there periodically because I think I have about 300 friends its just to respond or send a message to family members, privately. I really hate having public discussion with family members, it feels so awkward and I feel no driving urge to reconnect with high school friends.

Anyway, its really lovely to see you post, I hope to see you around some more, I have missed your voice, and that is an adorable pic but those red eyes whoooooooo

It is sad how many folks have just disappeared into the ethers. I tried nudging Wendy a while back, with no luck.

I confess to being a "Facebooker"...though I did just recently chop about 150 people off my list there last week whom I wasn't interacting with...for me, though, a lot of them (the majority, even) are offline friends from the gatherings who aren't active in spots like this, so it's a nice way of just seeing what they're up to.
