I've had more strange eggs this Spring alone than I've had in many years of eggs...   a few days ago I opened a jumbo size blue araucana egg into the pan for my breakfast and not only was there the white and a HUGE yolk but there was a little mini egg in it the size of a shooter marble!  The "shell" was kinda hard but a little bouncy like thick

Maybe she needs some calcium in her diet I don't know anything about chickens. But I have a friend who has a flock. I'll ask her if she ever has this problem. Hers run around her yard all day and eat bugs etc and then have regular food in the coop where they go at nite.

She is amazing. She made a coop with an automatic door. It closes around dusk. All the chickens and roosters know and get inside in plenty of time!

Those are some pretty funky eggs! They sort of give me the willies. :)
