I actually made it to a post screen!  I actually gave up entirely on this whole LJ thing for awhile.  All I'd been able to get up is a blank white screen.  Maybe they've improved a glitch or something.  I haven't tried to get to any friend entries yet.  I was having a super hard time with that.  There were some kind of ads trying to load on some

A lot of people are using dream width for journaling, I probably will set up an account there too because as you say more and more people are gone, but I have dogged determination because I like to journal and feel a realer connection. I could never journal on facebook with the thousands of friends I have whom I don't know from Adam!

Like you say, so many people are there so I check about once a week but rush off it feels so public there. I also don't post much other than new art I don't want anybody thinking I am a steady force there at all. I have always been an oddball as you well know but I would rather have a more real connection here even if its with only five people! Less then that I might as well just email! haha

Dream Width? I haven't heard of that. I'll have to find it and look around. Thank you for dropping in and saying hello. I've been gone so long the rooms have an echo... :-)

Although a lot of people still have their journals, they only check some of the time and post infrequently. I guess the ease of twitter and facebook, is appealing. You don't have to comment just click the like button!
