You know what, Christmas really does bring out the best in people. Aileen prepared a Christmas lunch for me, her, Eddy and Allan, and (awkward as it was) it was really nice. It almost felt like we were a normal family (bar the fact that she is not my mother, my father was not there, and Allan is my half brother haha!). But all in all it was really

Just goes to show that families don't need to consist of Mum, Dad, brother, sister and dog and it doesn't make the situation any less perfect.
