I loved the movie. The Hitchhiker's guide started with a radio show, then went to books, then went to an (embarassing) TV show, and now is finally a movie. So, I don't think that they had the same sort of honor most film makers have of sticking to the books. But there was a problem with the resolution; they never gave the guy his point of view gun in exchange for Zaphod's head. They never said that mice were the most inteligent species on earth. I also didn't see how Trillian (who was a totally different character than in the books and radio show, but at least she wasn't the dizy stupd airhead blonde she was in the tv show) could have a thing for aurther, because she was so strong and amazing, and he was so spineless. I love the rescue scene with the Vogons. Over all, i'd say... ... ... 8.9/10. Not DNA's best work, but pretty damn good.

sorry for the essay. i am a DNA dork and an english major. (who can't spell.)
