I am uncomfortable. It is mid-December and I am sweaty. My window is open but it is probably colder in my room than outside. Every year I keep hoping for a long wet winter but I get shafted. There was nothing sexual in the previous sentence so minds, outta the gutter

Over here, there's a weather phenomenon called a "Northeaster", which is where hot air crossing the Tasman from Australia hits the Souther Alps, loses its moisture, and comes barreling hot and dry (and positively charged, apparently) into the eastern side of the island. When this happens, people report irritability, headaches, and all sorts of stuff.

When I was reading about it online, I found out that a similar weather phenomenon in Switzerland is actually legal grounds for temporary insanity. Crazy, eh!
