I went to the local SCA meeting, and I had my hair down. I got several positive comments about the hair, and one neck nibble.

So I got to thinking and wondered if there was a length preference overall.

Technically, somewhere past the shoulders but above the middle of the back is the best. I say that from a visual preference and as someone who likes petting hair.
