Is it fanon that Orli is spelled with an 'i', or is there actual basis for it?

I don't know how it came about. I think it looks nicer with an I than a Y. The teen mags tend to call him Orly. As for him, he has said he doesn't like the name anyway. *shrugs* I'll remember not to call him that when I meet him.

I know a few people with the name Orli, and one spells it with a y. It just annoys me when people refer to him, they use a 'y' or two ee's.
He doesn't like the nickname? I read he doesn't like it when people come up to him and call him Orli, but that's purely understandable.

Well, I read a quote where he got quite testy when the reporter called him Orli. But then that might be bs.
