everything is now in order for my trip...all flights, all accomadations, now all that is left to do is wait. Having all of these things all sorted out really brings a new degree of reality to the whole thing.

i'm so excited for you! it's going to be amazing. i'd much rather be going to scotland than florida for my winter break, as strange as that would seem to most people, haha.

lucky you - im happy for you :) ive had that feeling before, where the reality is really just sinking in and you get antsy... its an exciting feeling. good luck

I'm getting more excited by the day...I'm slightly worried about going completely and utterly broke while I'm there though...I'm not exactly the most responsible person in the world when it comes to money...I have a terrible habit of spending every single bit of it that I have.

You are going to Scotland soon?? I LUV it there....I was there for my first time in June for a week....Drove everywhere, evening making time for a 3 day trip to the Orkney Islands....I miss driving there....DIdn't make it to Glasgow but had the most fabulous time in Edinburgh....Let's just say that the late night ghosts tours are great....And one of the only pubs I came across that has my beer....

Sorry....Just had to say something....Your LJ is very interesting....But have a fun and safe journey....

I am indeed, in a little over a month now...I'm insanely excited! I think Glasgow will probably be the only city in Scotland that I have time to visit this time around, but I will be in London for a few days as well, which should be nice. I'd like to get to Edinburgh at some point in the near future though. So, what is the beer that you like? But yes, we should add eachother as friends!
