I don't have any real tips for cooking asparagus, other than what has worked for me. I'm sure there are a myriad ways you can cook them to bring out their flavor.
I just take fresh stalks and sauteé them in a skillet in olive oil on medium-high heat for about five minutes. I like them to be slightly al denté. I also sprinkle Mrs. Dash seasoning on them for a more savory flavor.

Do you have any tips for preparing the asparagus? I'd love to try cooking it, but I hear that it's kind of finicky and I'm afraid I'd screw it up.
