I've been rather MIA lately. And I do apologize to the zero people who read this thing. I went apartment hunting. The place we looked at last year (3-bedroom) might possibly be available, else we might try to get a 4 bedroom loft-type place in the east village. either way, i'll be generally happy. Then I left work last night at 2AM because ( Read more... )

Conoodling is certainly not a word. It sort of sounds like a good word to use in a hookup situation, such as "My friend was trying to conoodle with this guy from the building last night, but it didn't work out, so we got a beer at 2am." It sort of blends in there well, no?

What kind of bubble gum? I'm partial to CareFree, but I hate Trident.

No, no, it's real bubblegum. Complete mouth-filling Bubblicious, in watermelon this week. It's not very diet oriented, because it's loaded in sugar. But it really annoys the guy who sits next to me when i blow bubbles and pop them all day long, so it's totally worth the extra sugar. Remember way back in middle school when we used words like "Totally," "Rad," and "Tubular." Yeah, me neither.

In high school, we named my house after middle school words, so my Minnesota house became Fort Awesome.

At college, I've lived in Fort Awesome East, because daddy still pays for it.

After college, though, I need a new name, and I'm stuck between Fort Tubular, Fort Bodacious, and Fort Kowabunga. Thoughts?

I think Cowabunga is with a C. We're really dorks. This thread argues about spelling and grammar about 4 times. I was asking about canoodling with an idea because that's what the person said on the phone this morning. "He's been canoodling with the idea of lowering the price..." That didn't seem right to me at all. And these people are supposed to be smart. Good thing I didn't know the word's real connotations, else I might have had a hard time trying to stifle a sixth-grade-school-girl giggle.
