I spilled hot coffee on my left middle toe. I, Tara, am wearing open-toed shoes to work. Such a rebel, am I. Well, I'm also wearing knee-high nylons; a decision that I'm regretting now, as my left toes swim in coffee

from may through september, my toes are exposed every day! and no nylons for me! Luckily, I've never worked anyplace that management cared of you show your toes. I never quite understood why that would be a problem.

I thought it was Official Super Mario Bros. Day and I thought, "Why was I not informed???"

I'm going out to lunch with my students today, I'll make sure to note the clouds and hum the Super Mario Bros. theme under my breath.

If you have to hop over any curbs, be sure to yell, "BOING-BOUNG-BOING!" and once you get to the restaurant, be sure to smack a light pole and yell, "Da-da-da-DA-da... Da-da-da-DA-da! Da-da-da-da! and then run inside.
