I'm going back to my birthplace. That's right- The Old Dominion State. I'm not even close to being prepared, mentally or physically. I really hate that I am being a pessimist about the trip. On my ex's birthday, 2 years ago, she received a package from her mother. Of course she was exited, I've never in my life met a person so attached and in awe of her mother. She opens it. I've had Aimee's dog for 9 days. In that time she has slept on my bed and sofa getting little hairs all over everything, eaten my favorite stick of chapstick, gotten in the bathroom trash and spread it all over, gotten in a fight with my dog, and pissed all over my expensive wool rug (ruining it). I'm ready for her to go home.

I went to the SCIC (So. Cal Indian Council) 38th annual Pow-wow today/night. It was FANTASTIC. I am obsessed with the Native American culture, which is fitting since I do archaeology at work and have two tribal tattoos..
