OMG I did it!!!
After spending entirely too much time on it, I finally got my turbo out of its exhaust housing. This was no easy task, and many before me have failed. This is why I had to write about it as soon as I beat it. These things are notorious for being near impossible to separate due to age, rust, and soot build-up. I finally did it. I took my turbo out last night! It is indeed sticking a bit, so I am glad I decided to go ahead and pull it. I got an EGT gauge to install so it had to come out anyway, but I was going to save it for later. 3D Goodness
Just got home from Nightmare Before Xmas 3D with the hubby, Mark and Darcy, and coolscaryguy. It was pretty damn good. The intro and 3D preview were far more impressive than the effects in the actual movie, but after thinking about it, I think the effect level in the movie was actually perfect as it did not distract from the feel of the original film. Orders a go go
I came home from AWA to find orders waiting for me, which is good and bad after a con. It is good because I can always use the money after a trip, but bad because I usually want to be a slacker when I come home, especially when I went out and picked up a video game the other day.
