Happy Birthday (a day late!) sounds like a great way to spend a birthday! Except for maybe the impromptu dumping of 2 feet of snow.

Sounds like you guys have made it through the storm quite well. Family & games are always a good combination.

Up my way, the storm was a 3" dusting & we never lost power. I had the woodstoves loaded and ready so they could just be lit without any real fussing, but didn't need to.

We almost ran out of milk, despite having bought 2 gallons of it. We had plenty of food in the fridge and in the pantry.

3" is not bad! We were quite surprised by how much extra we received.

It was! I was pretty stressed/overwhelmed last week, and having 3 days stuck at our house (we went outdoors to play, but we didn't leave our yard) was good to just SLLOOOW DOWN.
