Nostalgic Book Finding/Getting. Please help??

Feb 10, 2004 03:29

So, it's been a week since I last posted anything on here.

My army of ninjas is slowly growing as I find even people who live relatively near to me in real-life/time are interested in serving the Momiji (especially after reading the past two posts in my lj).
But I digress....

In this past week I've been contemplating the old books that I read ( Read more... )

I don't know about Dark Chronicles or Dark Moon Legacy, as I've never heard of them, but I have read Night of the Solstice once.

Night of the Solstice and Heart of Valor are near impossible to find. I've been part of LJ Smith fan communities before and they had a lot of problems getting ahold of them. I think fans are *still* waiting for her to come out with "Strange Fate" for the Nightworld series.

Now, me personally, In addition to looking for the above L.J. book that I am missing, want the last part in a trilogy

Ann Hodgman
Dark Dreams - Book #1
Dark Music - Book #2
Dark Triumph - Book #3

Hmm....Amazon lists all three as out of print/out of stock. Maybe my local half price bookstare has them? We'll see.

You evil woman you :p Now you got me wanting to read the books that I loved as a kid and wish I hadn't given away to my cousins. Wanna know what those are? I'm sure ya do, lol. Let's go and embarass myself here:

Nancy Drew Files (I fould often get caught in class for reading these and not my textbook), Sweet Valley High, R.L. Stine, Christopher Pike, L.J. Smith, Richie Tankersly Cusik, Madeline L'Engle, Ann Hodgman, Babysitter's Club (although I don't wish to get thsoe back).

There was other stuff, like this series that I think was calle Pen Pals, and well...my tasted kinda varied, lol. Hell, I recall my sister getting into trouble for getting only books of comics (a la Garfield, et al) instead of reading materials, whereas I had just joined the summer reading program, and had half of the readig requirements done, lol.

Weee....don't mind me, lol. It's just about 4am my time &am yours), I'm not the slightest bit sleepy, and I need to do something to occupy myself, so I'm off to play Fairland.

Bye-bye!
