David Lynch is exactly like that in real life. It's not a character. He's even quite deaf.

I feel like parachuting in some stew for you. That menu is obscene.

It's ok, it's my punishment for blowing money on an ATP ticket. Well, not blowing. Investing. It's only for another 2 days! Plus you can't talk - at least I have a reason... you ate like that in second & third year out of choice :-)

I enjoyed 'haricot medley' especially. A bowl of beans with cheese lovingly stirred in. And I cut the cheese with a knife coz I couldn't be bothered to wash the cheese grater. As I ate it John looked at me like I was spreading poo on my face.

Yay! You should LJ more often :-)

Plan B Magazine is pretty much written by the same folk as CTCL, hence the similarity in content and quality. I am totally going to have to check out William Gaddis now. What's a good starting point?

Hope you get paid soon x

get paid on monday, yay! I'm not aware that any Gaddis starting point is better than any other (except JR which sounds rather inpenetrable because apparently it is exclusively written in direct speech - which is probably where DFW got his 'Q' and then answer bits) - I started on The Recognitions because he said it was his favourite. He's only written 4 novels, i think the other two are shorter (recognitions is about 1000 pages).

what a break in lj monotony!
recording is a lot harder than I thought.
We started in Dec and it looks like we're not going to finish til May.
I like eunoia a lot and wish I could be there for those gigs :)
