To be fair, they do have a song called 'Kill all Hippies.' I like the kid talking on it, "10:4 Good buddy! This is Gorgeous, over!" Good times :)

i wasn't expressing surprise, just it seemed like all the people watching them had not heard anything beyond 'Screamadelica'

Sad really. Vanishing Point is the best I think, but then I do have a soft spot for 70s films featuring mad outlaw bikers. Going to any festivals yourself this year?

Certainly nothing after 'Screamadelica' has really done anything for me.

And, to call Primal Scream 'Punk' would be an insult to Busted. Bobby Gillespie is quite happy to do a song with Kate Moss, who symobolises the superficial and courtesan nature of Captilism, just cause he wants in her pants. Under Socialism, they'd be executed for being junkie no-hopers - and quite right too.
