Just posted on Mark's LJ, but good to hear everyone's ok. Yes, it's fine to be upset over the things you lost. Also, let me know about clothes, linens and such and I'll see what I can do.

Aye, let me know if there's anything I can help you guys out with. I'm not loaded on the fundage, but I always have something tucked away. Also, if you guys need me to go swing a hammer, please let me know. I can pull a day or two off here to go help out for sure. Heck, depending on the damage and such, I can build several walls and sheetrock in a matter of a couple days. Just keep me notified.

As for the stuff you lost, go right ahead and break down. It's perfectly acceptable to be upset of material loss so long as no one got hurt. You just make sure you let us know if ya need anything.

Chiming in because Steph is busy with about half-a-dozen things today...

Sympathies and thoughts are very much appreciated folks. To make things clear, this was her parents' house, not ours. Unfortunately most of her personal keepsakes were over there because of space limits here and because we thought they'd be safer.

We're handling long-term living arrangements with their insurance company at the moment. So the family's immediate food and shelter needs are going to be taken care of. Everything else is a day at a time at the moment.

Again, thanks.

Mark
