Where did you get the traffic ticket? Because as far as I know, the ticket is basically the summons to appear in court, BUT, by paying the thing you "waive your right to appear," by admitting guilt and paying it. If there's any way you can not appear, I'd say just pay it, because in Marion County (that's why I asked) they can give you court fees of like $500 + the cost of the ticket = fuckery. But I think calling and confirming the fact that you HAVE to show up is the best option, if you don't, go ahead and pay it.

I'm not sure if that's more info than you know, but it's my 2 cents anyway.

fuck a 500 dollar court fee. if that shit happens i am going to be so angry, but basically have no way to do anything about it, because if they require me to go to court and i don't go then i can be arrested or have my license suspended. DAMN.

i was going through this small town called ingalls near where my dad lives now. which is why i think they are dicking me, because they are small and need money.
