 well, i talked to the pendleton town court.  according to the lady on the phone, i don't actually have to appear in court like the ticket told me. i am choosing to trust the human who works in the court over the inanimate piece of paper. this is very lucky because the ticket itself is $116, and the court fee would have been like $150 on top of
