So I'm not sure if this one would be okay to link to the doctor_donna comm, so here's hoping folks find it. It's kind of weird, and not sure it turned out alright, but it's been bugging me for a few days now. Not even sure the title makes any sense. I tried to make the TARDIS appear as kind of a light and energy ghost type thing. Not sure I

Glad to see something posted. And congrats on Cheeky's birthday! (And I feel for you on the hair and the Barney part. Especially the Barney.)

The TARDIS would make a lovely mum I think. =D
I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for the comments. =)
(I really wish she'd hurry up and outgrow Barney. I like my eyeballs and everytime that's on, I want to gouge them out with a spoon.)

She would. Imagine her suddenly having to care for her own child. (Actually, I think TM sort of did that in one scene in a fic. Jenny's Labyrinth, I think.)
You're welcome. :D
(When I'm a mom, I intend to expose my children to what real dinosaurs looked like as early as I think is okay. Oh, Land Before Time will be fine I guess, but I hope I can avoid Barney because he's always annoyed me. And CLASSIC Sesame Street might be fine, but I'm afraid it's become too PC. D: )

I will have to find and read that one then. :)
(Sadly, Cheeky was already in love with Barney when she came to us. Netflix does have 12 Classic Sesame Street episodes, but very rarely do other shows hold her attention. Netflix had Dora the Explorer which I could tolerate better than Barney but its gone now. U less its Land Before Time she wil sit and whine for Barney.)

Anyway, lovely reference to them and the Doctor's previous angst. The TARDIS would naturally think of them as her children; why else would she be so indulgent and unconditional in her love? I'll be naughty and admit I loved Rose being punished here whilst Donna got her forever and to keep the Duplicate.
(I was subjected to Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam, but I'd still take them over Barney)

I am so glad the mother thing can be seen so well. :D I'll be naughty with you and say there was an evil grin on my face while I wrote Rose being punished.
Thank you for the comments, and I'm so glad you liked it. :)
(Cheeky's foster brother has a thing for Bob the Builder, and Thomas the Tank Engine. Her former foster mother is slowly being driven insane... :P)

Idris said all the things that should have been said to Rose on Satellite 5, way back then. Interesting how, out of all of the things Idris told her, Rose only heard the part about Donna being his wife! Typical. She only hears what she wants to hear.
"But the Tenth One had mercy. He let you live. He let you stay. And when you were sent to that Other Universe, it was a blessing." Absolutely!! And I don't think it was love that prompted him. It was guilt.
Happy birthday to Cheeky! Three, huh? Good luck! :D

*snort* Rose is still a whiny child. With very selective hearing.
I don't think Ten loved her either. It was guilt and a large dose of fear of being alone so close after losing his people. That's what I think anyhow. :)
Thank you for the comments and I'm glad you liked it. :)
Folks say the terrible twos are the worst. I think it's the threes. She's got a mouth on her and can be incredibly defiant. Four time outs yesterday alone.

As for daughters... it never gets any better once they get a mouth on them. It just keeps going and going! Don't even get me started on Barney and the newer Sesame Street!
