A fic!  Finally.  Something got written.  Muse has been on an extended vacation since stuff I was working on got removed, and we got super busy with the finalizing of the adoption.  Didn't get any of my work back, but the adoption finalized and so I'm moving forward.  And being super careful where I save my work now

It was going to be a sad fic, but I just couldn't do it. I didn't want to start over, so I did the little plot twist.

Sometimes Ten gets it right. :D I kind of envy Donna too.

Okay, I will admit the jar and his initial tears made me think it was Donna's ashes he had with him. Thankfully, I was completely wrong and this turned out to be a beautiful story of love and new beginnings. If I wasn't here with my family, I would have gotten a little weepy.

I can't believe I didn't see this before, but...

This was so sweet... Ten got it right,at least here, didn't he? I'm glad you went with the plot twist instead of what I think may have been your original thought.

So, he proposed on New Year's... I got married on New Year's Day. That way, everyone celebrates with fireworks!
