Waking Up

So, I had this floating in my brain this morning, and thought I'd bang it out.  It was going to end kind of depressing, because I'm in a depressed mood.  But it's Donna, and I just couldn't give Donna a sad ending.  Couldn't do it to the Doctor either.  So, happy ending all around. Please tell me if you think this could be linked on the ( Read more... )

*sighs* Yet another very real possibility for what could have been. Have I ever told you you're good at these fix-its?

Think four courses will be enough for two Time Lord appetites? ;D

Thank you! =) I'm so glad you liked it. I found I like to try coming up with ways to correct RTD's mistake.

Four courses to start perhaps? =D They could always make more.

Thank you for the comments.

Oh, this story has me soring!! I absolutely adore it!! Great way to fix her! I was wondering though, if she'd end up looking different. I hope not! :-)
Great job!! I hope you do write more. I love your stories!

Apparently, she was still ginger, since he was running his hands through her ginger hair, and Wilf recognized her.

Anyway, I always thought that regenerating was one way she could have gotten through the metacrisis. Of course the TARDIS would help... she loves Donna! Brilliant...

Loved how Wilf and Jack found them. I agree with Tkel Paris, two Time Lord appetites, four courses will probably be just an appetizer! Hope they are making plenty of tea, too.

I often wonder why she didn't regenerate. She should have. *sigh*

Yes, I'm thinking eventually six to seven courses. =D

Thank you for the comments, and I'm glad you liked it.

I always love it when Donna can remember and those two finally realize what the rest of the universe had been trying to tell them all along -- they belong together! And this way, it should really be the forever she promised.

Poor Donna at the beginning. Who can blame her for pushing her memory to the limit like that.
But I'm delighted that it meant that the Doctor was able to be there to help her, encouraging her regeneration.. Oh yes! Putting her right back in the TARDIS with the Doctor where she deserved and was meant to be. :D

Btw, I might need to come back and revise this as my thumping head insists this comment lacks something... Okay, quite a lot.
