I'll try to explain, but I'm not very good at explaining things. Basically, I have 3 big reasons:
1) I dislike the adult content flagging system, which you may be familiar with if you've seen the "adult content inc!" lj-cuts. I just find it annoying, and have a personal beef with revealing my birthdate. I know I could fake it, but then I'd probably forget it, which could lead to issues later. XD
2) 6A sold LJ to SUP, the Russian company that's been fielding some of the Russian users. I don't like what I've read about SUP's investors or how it's acted so far with the Russian userbase. I particularly didn't like the situation mentioned in that link where an SUP rep logged into someone's account without explicit permission, but most of what I read did not impress me.
I can't find anything positive about the company. (If anyone does, link me?)
3) The clincher for me was the new interest filter issue, which, aside from being blatant censorship in my opinion, has been so badly programmed that you can't search for innocuous things like
