So I just finished my orange-red (whorish is one adjective for the color) 15th century kirtle and I must say, I've been missing something all these years.  No bones?  No petticoats?  And it still looks decent?  Shocking.  Anyway, if my Burgundian plans fall apart for the pas, at least I can pin on some sleeves, tie on an apron, and wander around
