Sometime early this summer, I begin to have longings for an ultra feminine dress. One that was frilly and even pink in parts. I wanted something that screamed GIRL as loudly as it could. Did you get it started/finished yet? We need to get together to measure each other and sew corsets and stuff sometime soon! :)

My mother-in-law and I finished the smock last night. :) It went very smoothly and was done in under 3 hours, including the time to lay out the thin plastic over the pattern to trace a new pattern so we didn't have to cut up the very expensive paper pattern. :P I'm hoping to spend the drive to crown this weekend working on some hand finishing work to make it a little prettier than the plain white smock.

Very cool! I look forward to seeing it! I get to try and control the radio/CD choices and pay some attention to the road ahead of me on my drive to Crown. Not quite so constructive, but not a bad idea all in all! ;)

Probably a good idea to pay attention to the road since you're driving. I'm a fan of you not swerving off and getting into an accident. :P
