The sweet aroma of clove lingers all over me; my sweater, my hair, my fishnet stockings. It feels good to be home, even while the last two days are playing back on repeat inside my head. It's been sort of fun working the state fair this year... elephant ears, plastic fetuses, Enterprise and the Space Orbiter.

My new pet rat is fucking adorable... In the last two days I have had two rats; the first one, Bowie, had to be taken back because he was a pisser and also a male. A family of owls has decided to take up residence in our maple tree and I couldn't resist taking pictures of the incredibly cute owlets... oh geeze, they are so fucking adorable.
