Baked a good ham a couple of days ago. Everyone liked it. Made up my own glaze, like mine sweet, so it had brown sugar, honey, grape jelly, dry mustard, etc.

Yesterday, made a pretty good bean and ham soup. I was happy because my children ate it better than a Happy Meal. That always makes Mama happy. Better for them too.

well, i lumped all the good things in a short post, and left out all the naps and laying around, and cleaning up. Thought it was better that way.

And, I did have help. I forgot to mention that my Christmas present/cleaning lady friend came, and she was the one who actually did the scrubbing in the bathroom, though I am proud to say I was keeping it straight all by myself. She also helped me with the girls' room, dishes, and folding laundry during the 2 hrs she was here on Monday. The girls have been big helpers, too.

Getting their laundry done was a gigantic task, at least 5 or 6 loads of little girl stuff, and I did it all on New Year's Eve to distract myself, while my husband had to do catch up on some work at his office.

Because I am Bobby and therefore focus too much on the foods...Ham and bean soup. Mmmm. Used to be a great winter comfort food. A big dollop of sour cream and some toast and I was happy...Come to think of it, that would still work on me.

Glad to see you guys are getting past the sickies too.
Hugs to the rug rats.
and you.

Glad to hear your feeling better.

I don't think cleaning or laundry ever end. I see no end in my future. I don't know people with immaculately tidy homes do it.
