Full Crisis Averted

Yesterday started out great - I got to wear an apron and use my newly acquired apple peeler and corer (33 pence a piece).  And, the apple breakfast bread turned out great as muffins.  I was feeling pretty confident substituting half the butter with applesauce and even adding a couple tablespoons of oil for moisture.  I even shredded the apples

Invite over your British friends. They may have thought they got rid of all of us on the Mayflower, but now you're back. With turkey! And packaged foods!
