AAAAA!!!!! Awesome!!!!! Congrats to you and Tal!!! (I'm very excited for you guys - the exclamation marks give me away!) :) We'll all be waiting to see what a real Jewie baby looks like.
I believe I own a bunch of maternity clothes I can give away to you - I just need to dig them up from my storage.

nasal bones rule! I am a lucky owner of one, and both my kids inherited it from me, and they are the most awesome and beautiful kids one might dream of. Congratulations, Alisa!

thank you :) I like to think that my nasal bone is of rather average size and strength, but we'll see how it turns out :)

In school-world related news, I'm going after my bilingual certification 'cause Russian-speaking and, especially, Spanish-speaking kiddies need someone kind and attentive testing them and talking to their Moms.

Other than that, I'm thinking of you and secretly hoping that having a baby, lack of sleep and hard work aside, is an amazing creative project. Please, prove me right!

Wow, that is good news. Those kids are very, very, lucky to have someone like you working with them. I am sure the kids, as well as their families, will remember you for a long time. I would love to hear more about your work in NY. I wonder how different or similar are the things we deal with in Boston.

Of course it's going to be a creative project :) Though I am very much determined to have it be not "my" project, but "life's" project in which I am an assistant and a caretaker of sorts. This is actually one thing in my life that I do not want to be "all about me". :)))

I am also planning to write down my thoughts about my feelings and attitudes towards my students, and how having my own child will affect what I have with them. I am actually really interested in the changing dynamic, and hope I can retain some control over my perception of things.
