I remember feeling the same way when Ben cut his first tooth (at 4.5 months, so no one believed me he was teething). Felt totally monumental, but I couldn't figure out why that particular milestone felt that way. It just did. Now he has 9 teeth and I don't even care that much if the 10th has cut through yet or not :)
Must be something about that first tooth :) I had no idea a tooth would be here so soon, because she hasn't been cranky at all (though she has been chewing on everything and drooling profusely). She has, however, been quite cranky since she got it, so either more are on the way, or she is unhappy about yesterday's shots.
I would like to meet your son and his nine (possibly ten) teeth sometime. We are around this long weekend, nad the next. I'll be in touch via email.
