So the more I read about it, and the more I think about it, M. Night's still trying to cram too much stuff into each of the movies. The initial reviews of things feeling rushed seem confirmed on this

Your condensation makes more sense then whatever that weirdo director would do. Even though it does cut a lot out, it won't have the problem if feeling rushed, which I do think that's what it's going to be. I also find it funny that a lot of the trailers for the movie have been showing the siege on the North Pole, but that's going to be at the end of the movie, so aren't all the trailers sort of spoiling what happens?
