I can think of an example where it's ok to use someone. Kid A has a Wii, Kid B has an xbox360. Neither kid likes the other, but both really wants to play the other's system. So Kid A uses Kid B just to play his xbox360, and Kid B uses Kid A just to play his Wii. Both know that the other is using them, but it's ok because they get to play videogames and it's fun. This probably doesn't apply at all to what you're talking about, but it made me think of this when I read it. I've used kids before for their gaming systems, but I don't think I've used anyone for any deeper purposes than that. So, in answer to your question, it depends what the person is being used for. If it's for something like using them to use their stuff, it might be ok. But if they're being used for the selfish personal gains of someone else, I don't think it's ok.

Yeah, Alisa. It is all right for two people to knowingly use each other. It's deceptive "use" that's kind of on shaky moral ground.
